I survived Hurricane Maria.
I won the 2017 Worst Vacation Planner of the Year award by booking a vacation that landed us in Puerto Rico three days before Hurricane Maria. My wife and I were supposed to leave the following Saturday (three days after the hurricane,) but instead we spent 48 hours in the San Juan airport trying to get out and this report shows you exactly what we went through. In fact, the young man you see at 1:30 was someone we spent quite a bit of time with and got to know.
